All cabins include: full size fridge and stove, microwave, coffee perk, TV, DVD player, gas barbeque, running water (cold only), pots and pans, plates, utensils, etc.
Things to bring: bed linens or sleeping bags, pillows, dish cloths and tea towels, garbage bags and other personnel items.
Things you may wish to bring: hiking gear, bicycles, water craft, fishing gear, rainy day games, etc.
|Cabins 1-7 are located on Beaver Retreat. These cabins were built around 1999 by Construction Engineers from 14 Wing Greenwood. These are two bedroom units with one double bed and two sets of bunk-beds (i.e. sleeps 6).|| |
Cabins 8 & 9, are located on Comox Road and were provided courtesy of Canadian Forces Base Halifax in the early 90s. These, too, are two bedroom units with one double bed and two sets of bunk-beds. They are more spacious than cabins 1-7.
| ||The 10th is commonly referred to as the Old Manager's Cabin or the LPCC Cabin. This was once the seasonal home to a previous campground manager. It faces south-west and enjoys beautiful sunsets on a small beach. This is a one bedroom unit; however, sleeps 4 (one double bed and one set of bunk beds). |
